INTEGRAIL Results

Several different routes were used for testing INTEGRAIL:

• in Austria: LogServ/CargoServ, VoestAlpine: Linz -- Steyrling
• in Belgium: SNCB
• several car tests on highways in southern Germany, Austria, and northern Italy

INTEGRAIL LogServ/CargoServ Test

CargoServ Test Area: Rural Line Track Linz--Steyrling

• Single line between Nettingsdorf and Steyrling
• Mountaineous area near Steyrling with 4 tunnels
• Route data transferred from commercial map with an accuracy of 25 to 30 m

• Rough environment with frequent multi-path and shadowing
• Complex rail routes with many parallel tracks and switch points
• Data base transferred from GK coordinates provided by LogServ
• High relative data base accuracy but the resolution/accuracy at some switch points to be investigated
